Sounds like a fun time guys! Hope I can make the next one - next summer one, that is Do the rivers over there get less pressure than mid West?

I feel like the rivers are very crowded compared to MT, but not sure about how it compares to mid-west.
As a lake specialist, I think you would love cental OR. We were camped within 1 hour drive of about 20 lakes that have everything - LM bass, SM bass, browns, brookies, bows, salar, kokanee salmon.

Paul, that is an unacceptable mistake.
MT is the West/Mountain West/Rockies.
Mid-west is like Minnesota.
I think the way the US was settled made every part of the country west of the Appalachians "The West" or "The Wild West" at some point. As we went farther west we just added some sort of ajective tot he word west to describe it.
