Paul's POD gives me an idea, I'm tying 40 completely random flies. It'll be like winning the lottery! And far closer to how I actually tie.

"Come on Lady Luck, bring me a Fat Freddy!"

Fuck tying the same pattern over and over like I did for the 2008 Imaginary Swap!   I'm going for authenticity this time.

Cheers,

Rob

Hey Rob,

Even better ....... howabout if the other 39 in the swap each place an order with you and you tie "bespoke authentic flies to order"  for the 2009 swap :p

Well I think they should be similar! Check out my RFUs for example. They're all different but eerily the same. I think that's the mark of quality.

Cheers, Paul

If I hesitate any longer I'm not in, which would be a pity... For me that is, for I'll miss the chance on receiving 39 of the sexiest flies from all over the world! Do not expect anything fancy from me though, just a super emerger from the Dutch polders, a killer for roach!

So I'm entrant #36, I think

I'll be # 37.  I'll tie an appropriate pattern for NZ or N America (heavy and simple vs. light and specific, perhaps?).  First to respond gets the only vote.
