River Mörrum
Day Two is over. Today I had the pleasure of fishing the lower stretches of River Mörrum - that is downstream of the town of Mörrum. River Mörrum has 32 numbered pools - pool 1 being in the town centre. Downstream there are 16 (2-16) pools and another 16 upstream (17-32). In pool 9 I actually managed to catch a nice 6 pound seatrout which took a very orange tubefly. The day started out in very beautiful and springlike weather, but in the afternoon the sun was covered by clouds, and it became very cold, and I had the impression that the fishing was rather slow. Tomorrow the fishing begins at 6am, and I'll try and get a spot in Pool 1. It's of course rather crowded, but it's a calssic and you can't fish River Mörrum without trying Pool 1, so it's an early rise for me. More tomorrow afternoon or evening! Pictures on the Board.
