Correction to PUALD snakehead shot distances
PUALD on a predetermined direction is very different from one that you have to switch to unpredictable direction. Big wind resistant large fly is also another issue to deal with. No I don't think it is the same shot for bonefish either from a skiff or wading or even in a casting pond. Paul fish slig...

Distance driving rod design
Of course I can back it up! I'll video it this week. It certainly gets rid of waves in the bottom leg! All the best Tropical SW anglers I know Bernd have learned to point the rod at the fish while fighting. In that respect rod stiffness is immaterial. Have a look at the Gourami vid I posted. That's...

Distance driving rod design
Yes let's hope so :p Why would a 7 wt rod be different depending on fish species? 7wt is pretty hardcore for trout. Off to bend your rod. Cheers, Paul Really? I must have been confused by Yew Kong. He matched his Sexyloops 4wt Fluorescent Orange custom with 6 wt tropical outbound. Consistently cast...

Distance driving rod design
I think fly fishing is evolving like everything else on this planet except some 'old school' fly fishers. More species caught on fly every decade. A 7 wt rod designed for bonefish should perform differently than a 7 wt for trout. Fly design is evolving too. Casting a large popper on a 5wt setup is e...

how often do you get robbed?
If it was a random act, the thief would had broken into a few cars. Yours would be the last and he would leave a note asking money for getting rid of your sneakers. But I could be wrong.

Ha... The temporary jetty has a small car park. Maybe you have been parking in the prime spot for too long. You're lucky. The squeaker could had been torched or go swimming. Nobody is interested in your shoes. Trust me, I'm Asian.

Have you been paying any parking fees, Paul? I know someone at the jetty collect money from tourists sometimes.

One difference between Hungary and the Jungle
In the tropics mosquitoes carry diseases. Here in Malaysia, there are dengue and malaria. Both are deadly. Dengue is common in densely populated cities. Malaria however is more common in rural areas. I have friends caught malaria after came out from the jungle. So if you're bitten by mosquitoes here...

Primarily European?
Malaysia. I know some other Malaysian, Indonesian, Singaporean, Taiwanese and Chinese read this forum too. Asian prefer to watch and read Europeans fighting each other than writing in English.
