What do trout want?
Hi,
Shine a UV light on flourescent materials used in a fly and they seem to glow. Whether this makes a fly more attractive to trout is the burning question.

What do trout want?
Hi,
I have not read the book just wondered if flourescent materials were mentioned.
I like to include a flourescent tag in some of my nymphs I think this makes them more attractive.

Hi,
Dick Walker first brought up the chinaman theory in relation to artifcial flies.
It was how much can you remove from the drawing of a chinaman and still recognise it as a chinaman.
To relate that to a fly for example, would a cranefly still catch if all it had was the legs?
