Re: Lens for nature shots
Hi Paul Since you didn't mention a camera body, i'd go for a compact camera instead. One obvious choice is the tg6 Pro: ip68 and will tolerate some maltreatment Con: limited zoom What i'd give a try is the tz200 (or what it is called over there) Pro: astounding picture quality Huge zoom range Con: n...

Hi John
As an alternative/improvised punch I'd suggest to use
a standard four mm diameter nail, pointed end filed square and a piece of cross cut wood as the counterpart.
Will make decent holes!
Dont drill it!
Cheers

Hi Paul,
don't know what you mean by "limestone belt", but if it's about the substrate of a water body the iGeology app might help.
Another thing that may interest you is Bruce Sandisons book about the highland lochs.

Hi
just can tell you about the feedback in Austria/Europe
... seems most buyers are really happy with that gadget!
And btw, in euroland we see the usual rip-off,
depending on the bundle it's twice your price grrrr
Cheers

Line for smallish river
hi all
occasionally i've found my perfect light weight set by chance - well, with some intent actually
thats
cts affinity x 4wt 9'
and the small river line from mike barrio
on a skb scimitar reel (no brake 3oz)
the line feels better than a rio light touch imo
cheers

The whole truth may be ...
There was a takeover by an american investor called Lirpa inc (hence the fees in usd) and Paul just gets an annual $1.
So he has to tie flies for a living ...
The only solace is, thanks to the glorious V. Orban the investor could not get hands on the sexyloops vineyard ...

When I stayed at Lago di Garda the wish for such a resource came up. There are three Provinces around the lake, all with different regulations. And this in a holiday region! This was family-camping, so I didn't bother too much, but, and that's a serious but, when going on a fishing trip things are d...
