Why being so persistant when it comes to competing outdoors? I've always claimed it sucks. Some get a 7 m/s tailing wind and others a headwind... Great fun after two years and thousands of hours of hard work. Not! Why don't you, at least, discuss it?

That's my personal experience as well, to load the rod early and moving it forward through translation. In order to do that i don't rotate wrist to much, i pull my elbow down/forward and move my body. Rest of the wrist comes in later together with haul

I visit the Swedish mountains more or less every year. Altitude is between 500-800 m. I've never experienced any differences when it comes to casting and distances. If you ask me the thinner the air the easier to get further. The latter is nothing I can confirm though, just physics
