WC Accuracy Rules
Read the rules (maybe throughly for the first time :) It seems that ticking in the backcast should also be counted as zero, if rules are taken literally. If the fly, leader or line strikes the surface while false casting, the cast is regarded invalid (0 points), and the caster must continue to the n...

Typo sorry. The occasional light winds that came from behind the island were perpendicular not parallel to the track. So very little help or variance caused by the wind.

Thanks! I was sure I will win when I saw in practice that I can cast longer than Swedes in still conditions. But the Norwegians... No wind in trout, sea trout and salmon distance. If there were some light winds it was directly parallel of the track from behind the island. Spey and accuracy were open...

Michal, there was really cold inside the hall +1 or +3. Lines, leaders, rods and people :) are quite stiff at that temperature. Also the air drag is bigger the colder and more humid the air is (and I think we had both). Not sure how big part that plays in addition to general stiffness of everything...

Thanks! I used my secret (hehheh) new indoor sea trout line made up from several pieces. Something like 19.5 meters and 26.5 grams. And the rod was made up from three pieces of two rods  and about nine and half feet. You just need to remember to not use any force when casting it. And I mean NO...

Casting arc is defined as the angle of rod butt between back and forward stops and butt does not bend. Ooops. What if we do not stop. :oh: I was actually thinking that casting stroke might end before rsp. I.e. any time after rod starts to unload. RSP might be a good approximation, but I still think ...

I am not 100% sure we need to explain RSP to be able to teach fly casting. I think you feel the end of the power stroke and maybe it is that feeling we need to be able to teach?
