Re: The Kick Haul
Paul—I actually owe you an email, but wanted to jump in here and ask if I could include the Kick Haul in my next book? I’d credit you of course, and am hoping you could provide some extra drone footage on which I could base some more complex drawings. You have proven once again that you are genius-l...

Re: Filming yourself casting
Still have a bit of a bum shoulder (line arm, fortunately). But also have an eager 10-year-old who is tying herself a heap of flies and expects me to take her places where she can use them. So, I have some additional motivation!

So, could be a us...

Re: Filming yourself casting
FWIW, the slow-mo video used to create the illustrations in my last book was shot with two iPhones (2017 vintage). As Lasse pointed out clearly, the keys are the right light and background. In addition, there are some inexpensive apps out there in both the “i” and “a” operating system worlds that ca...

Re: Good fly casting instructional book
G I V, T F T. S, JB Thanks for that! Maybe I need to do a pocket sized edition. Would be a great way to force me to get a bit more serious about being succinct and cutting everything to the core. You could just use the first letter of each word for the ultra elite, it would also save on trees and ba...
