Withdrawal
40 quid and I think if you look at the small print there's a section about 'having the shirt off your back'. SHOCKING! Still, on the bright side Paul it's never a bad thing to visit the UK now and again just so you can remind yourself why you left! Don't fall apart on us, hang in there, your almost ...

Hi Mark
Thanks for your input, appreciated. The wraith is quickly growing on me, so lightweight!

Flycasting Questions
Hi Paul I joined recently and have found peoples input very helpful, especially impressive as you guys are unable to see me cast and have to translate or read between the lines and work out what could be going wrong as apposed to what I think is wrong! I went out yesterday and the combination of eas...

Rod tip softness / Backcast loop shape
Hi Mark Yes, practising purely to get a more effective and consistent fishing cast. I'd say 90% of my fishing takes place between 30 - 60ft max. Will get out over the coming weekend and put some of these thoughts and ideas into practise. I'll start with shortening the stroke, ease up on power and qu...

Rod tip softness / Backcast loop shape
Hi Guys Having read all your comments and opinions I'm wondering if it's more than just one thing. Paul's comment about forcing in with the rod jumped out at me, as soon as I read it I thought 'yes, I am doing that', applying more force in an attempt to bend the wraith as much as I would with the xp...

Rod tip softness / Backcast loop shape
Thank you for that guys, I think you've answered my question. I'm putting one rod down, picking the other up and not tightening up enough, just doing exactly what I was previously.
I didn't find that too wordy Graeme, the text and diagram really helped to make the penny drop (so to speak)

Rod tip softness / Backcast loop shape
Hi All I’ve recently been trying to improve my backcast and have noticed that although I’m not consistent with either rod I find it much easier to make wedge shaped loops with my 5wt xp than I do with my 5wt Hardy Wraith, does this have anything to do with counter flex or is it just my lack of abili...
