The II is now manufactured by a USA manufacturer (I have been told Cortland) because the UK manufacturers have, in one case, temporarily: or in another case, permanent ceased production. I think the lines are still good value, but necessarily more expensive than they were

The problem would still persist in being straightening a long length of line behind you compared to a shorter one. That's really what makes flycasting more difficult, setting up the casting weight in the right shape at the right place at the right time. The shorter that casting weight is, the easie...
