Research seems to support practising something in short bursts until you can do it with 95% accuracy.

You then move on to something more challenging and do enough to maintain the skill that you had before.

You need to be objective though I suppose!

Oh and another thing. Could the pin fry feeding in uk reservoirs be down to unique conditions for fry habitat? There can't be as many fishable concrete bowls across the world as there are here. Just a thought.
