Try to get a major company involved and standardise the comp. So maybe provide the rod and line to competitors ...

Spey Casting Comp at Sportfish Reading
Am i counted as a Pro?
I don't think i am.
I'm a bloke who sells a few fly tying materials.
Will i be excluded?

Import Duty on Shipped orders
VAT and Duty are two different things. Outside of the EU if you are VAT registered you do not have to charge VAT to the customer. Inside the EC if the customer is VAT registered they give you there VAT number and no VAT is charged. Duty is a tax on top. When importing from outside the EC i think i g...
Hooks
Lighter by some way then the high carbon steel one.
I would say a similar wire weight to the stainless steel one but stronger because it is carbon steel.
It does have a slight off set point but its easy to tweak out of you want it inline.

Hooks
Daiichi 3111 is a popular hook for me.
Strong, sharp and light.

Waldron Law Vice - Help please!
I speak to Lawrence occasionally. I am 99% sure that he won't be making any more vices. He released a few earlier this year (under 10) and the flack he got from people moaning at him because the were worried about the value of there vices going down was disgusting. So it put him off doing anything e...

Sounds like fun Paul lol.
I notice that may guys seem to use light rods for seatrout fishing over there. 5wt and 6wt.
Is this because they are spooky or that conditions are good to use that weight rod.
Normally i use a 8wt for the UK in Salt mainly due to size of fly and or wind conditions.
