looking for Vosseler vices

I have the Vosseler vice. It is so modular that I even can only take the head and the suction base along and can tie. The head even fits in my fly fishing bum bag. Brilliant and it did cost a fraction of most other toys ... erm tools. I however seem to be one of the very very few liking the Vosseler...

the tale of two hats - Tracy and James FP

https://www.sexyloops.com/index.php/ps/a-tale-of-two-hats I know exactly what you are talking about ;-) Have you tried wearing the prom backwards? The trout think you are leaving. That's a nice trick too. I think the old double brim tweed hats might have worked in that regard and explains why they a...

Re: Knapek Hooks

Hi,

I have tried them some years ago and found that the wire at the hook eye was very sharp and so caused the tying thread to break. This might have been a bad batch though, but I didn’t see a good reason to try again after this rather frustrating experience.

Cheers,
Thomas

Re: Hi-viz hare

Nice colour... I could have done with those last night, fishing at dusk I completely lost my fly and was very late lifting into the best trout of the evening Exactly that’s the problem which I try to solve. I could have used some sort of synthetic fiber, but hare floats very well and it it reflects...

Re: Any fellow Pro photographers/ sound engineers?

Hello TZ! I am based in the UK, the West Midlands. Haha! I'm sure you must be good! :sorcerer: Ahh, a fellow sound engineer! I set up a line array system with delay towers the other day, it was such a pain as the last person to borrow the equipment didn't reverse coil the speakon cables, so some of...

Re: Any fellow Pro photographers/ sound engineers?

Hi Nick, Interesting question:) where are you based? I take pictures, yes. Sometimes i get paid for it even. I do not know why because I hardly know what I do ;) Sound System Design I know a tad bit more about - my other job paying for the fishing and camera gear I buy whenever Lars tells me “you ne...

Re: Photos 2019

Hashtags are very annoying. I met one guy who makes his living (and a very good one) off Instagram photos. He uses hashtags but instead of posting with the first post he uses the second and third posts to post hashtags which is an excellent idea I think. He gets some serious sponsorship too. GoPro ...
