I think we can cast longer and fish longer time without unnecessary weight. IMO adding heavy reel to balance rod for "swing" or nymphing is not clever but building a longer handle is.

I hope Fluorocarbon mono is forbidden? Is there difference between federations? Fluorocarbon density is almost double of Nylon which would have an advantage!
I have four OutBounds and two Max heads and they are not like the profile picture. About five feet front and rear tapers and level in between. But floating and Intermediate AFS has about 2/3 of head weight in rear half. Sinking AFS have less weight difference between front and rear half.
