World championships 2014

I will be there. And I think there will be another guy from the Netherlands, but I am not sure about that.

Shooting Line on the Last Backcast?

Now I come to think of it.
If I would cast further when shooting in the backcast I would do it. I would take the risk of screwing it up.

Pauls answer is spot on for me.

Shooting Line on the Last Backcast?

I never shoot on the final backcast when distance casting.
If something goes wrong I wont be able to adjust because I will end up with to much line to carry.

The dolphin-nose

Thomas, I looked into some old topics and see that the dip is a characteristic of the dolphin nose.
I wasn't aware that this particular thing had a name. It's not just a tailing loop a guess.

Never really thought about this thing, so can't help you at the moment. Sorry

The dolphin-nose

Hi Thomas. Thanks for that. Is the small dip in the top leg also a characteristic when calling it a dolphin nose? Or just the wedge shaped loop? The dip is actually a small tailing loop. But it is the wedge shape you are referring to, correct? That seems like an efficient loop to throw. What are you...

The dolphin-nose

What do you mean with dolphin nose loops?
Are they rounded like most loops?

Maybe have a picture or video that could make it clear to me?

Flyfishing Norway

Thanks Paul,

I think I could have been a bit more specific :)
Preferably I would like to fish a bit less far north.
We will be renting a car and it should be drivable from Fagerness. We are looking for some (big) trout fishing.
