Shooting Head Definition

So a DT with loops at both ends is really just a long shootinghead named wrongly :yeahhh: Hi Lasse, I like your fine (and short) lego definition :). Since you seem to like extreme examples  If you take an 18 feet DH rod and aerilize the full length of DT while having flat beam (connected by l...

Haul adjustment, when to stop rod & line hand

Hi Bernd

Maybe you should try and ask the question:

At what time should the haul be moving with the highest velocity? ;)

Tenis Elbow

Hi Mike

Glad you got proper treatment!

That said, I completely agree with Will, make sure it doesn't come back.

Cheers and good recovery

Maybe it is Lasse, but in general (because we seem to be thinking that way in this thread) would you agree that rods have got stiffer over what they once were? Cheers Ben Hi Ben Actually not, I know there's a piece somewhere on the net with a bunch of the rod designers and they say the rods have go...

Shooting Head Definition

hey Mike ! it's the loop connection between the head and shooting line that defines it for me. (as explained by Bernd during a shooting head course in Spain a few years back  ) otherwise, (with a spliced or whatever permanent connection) it's a WF whose running/shooting line may vary in choic...

I think we would see some using the 15, it's not really the bend that would make the high mark... You've seen the clip of the 13 weight on a rod that says 3... Hi Lasse, if throwing a 13 wt. fly line does not be much of a problem in controlling rod bend to shape the loops and achieving the desired ...

Actually it's a nice 5 but a bit on the heavy side: Hi Lasse, you better watch your strike indicator if you don't want a fish flying at the end of your line using that rod to fish the 5wt. line :p Nice videos. How would you describe the feeling to cast both rods over a longer period in the average ...
