Just have Paul measure his body :p No need to have a calibrated pole or height marker on a tree. How about some ground markers? Cones? Plates? Wine Bottles? Wine corks would be too small. Say one where you are standing, and then at 10, 20, 50 and 100 feet on the front cast and 50 and 100 on the bac...
