Hi Godon
Seperate weights and seperate bricks. Getting the weights to drop at the same time is difficult, that's why I used a book to suspend the weights until dropping them.
Cheers
Lasse

Hi Lasse, I didn't (mean to) say there is a definit fit for each rod in general. My experience is, that all fly fishermen in my lessons ended up choosing the same head weight on a specific rod in a specific situation using a specific fly to be cast. And that leads me to believe there is an avergae ...

Let's take an example: A student will ask me which Barrio SLX fly line to use on the HT fly rod. On the Barrio website I find: head length: 10m WF4F-10 grams, WF5F-12 grams, WF6F-13.6 grams, WF7F-15.2 grams, WF8F-17.5 grams The HT is quite stiff for a 6wt. rod in my book. ERN is 7,2 and AA 70. The ...

Hi Bernd
I can and I do, but it's a recommendation, and I stress the points regarding it.
I think Simon's recommendations are fine, and I agree with the disclaimer.
But you where saying there's a definit weight that fits, I say it differs
Cheers

Mike, let the doctor tell you want you can do or not. No one here knows exactly what is wrong with your arm, and wouldn't it be really sad if you made the pain worse, or your injury permanent?
Hope you have a spreedy recovery.

Ok, just found that 7,6 ERN TCR 590 in the database along with one of 7,4... So SL rod is a TCR :pirate: Cheers Lasse It doesn't feel like a Sage at all. I would rather say it has the best of Sage and G-Loomis without the "lifelessness" of Sage rods and the "unuserfriendliness" of the G-Loomis'... ...
