BFCC dates 2013

Marc Let me know if you want to go to the Reading or Devon dates, you are welcome to stay with me. As for cricket, it's easy: You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that’s in the side that’s in goes out, and when he’s out he comes in and the next man goes in until he’s out. Wh...

The BIG THREE

I think we all see something different :D It seems to me that duration of the rotation is more important than when it occurs

Malik

Where in Switzerland are you based, I'm near Lausanne most years visiting my wifes family.

Glass?!

as for the net, for once :asleep: , you are absolutely correct. fishing without one is irresponsible. it seems we tend to agree on something.i'm confident it wont happen too often again. it is not acceptable even on a new board. :pirate: I think that £21.5m research budget has just been pushed out....

The BIG THREE

If we are having pictures, does that mean we can have graphs? :666:

Seriously, I do like the graphic but would suggest "appropriate tension" to achieve "the cast I want"

Re: Glass?!

For fishing up close and personal on small streams, I prefer the Steffen over any of my carbon fibre rods. If you are really up for a build, I'll try and set up a meet with a man that has a house full of glass rods who lives mid-way between us.

Re: Glass?!

John

I do not know of anywhere specific. There are some Hardy Fibatube blanks out there and I have also heard that Specialist Rod Services @ Biggleswade- tel 01767 317122 are worth a shout.

Re: Glass?!

Trev Come and have a play with my Steffen. Its a modern e-glass and light years ahead of the old fella you tried last time. If you want to try a range of rods, there is a fibreglass nut who lives between us and is a SDAC member who has a stack of different types, who I am sure would be willing to le...
