Re: Tracking correction
Solution, direct your throw forward to the left (if you are holding with the right) when the tip comes straight in front, move the throw back slightly to the left and in front it will improve on its own.

Re: Tracking correction
I think it's the back start forward, if the line or terminal is right back and the thrust goes straight forward, the tendency will be to have the tip right in front, probably upward as well.

Re: Ribbed Grip
Hi paul, one question, doesn't that iron under the tape have the same function as a carbon tube tucked into the heel? that can also be customized as rigidity.

Re: Practicing Accuracy
To have precision, I use to stop the fly in the air as close as possible to the target, this implies maintaining a good tension of the line and a stable position of the body and elbow, (needless to say that even the back cast is essential for linearity). system almost becomes a habit over time.

Re: Distance Casting In Hot-Humid-Calm Conditions: Thin Air Tough Casting?
:D Ivan, you need to adjust some translation of Google. By the way because i'm italian i well undestand what you are meaning. Yes i agree. The hot air on a sunny summer day certainly tends to create a convective motion by "lifting" the line as well. Certainly with the warm air that is les...

Re: Distance Casting In Hot-Humid-Calm Conditions: Thin Air Tough Casting?
I would not be wrong but I have the feeling that it centers the heat exchange of the ground, when the sun irradiates the earth and becomes hotter than the air, a kind of hot bubble forms, this could affect, the wind carries things therefore it probably also carries the line, of course I'm ignorant o...

Re: Sloppy Rod
Hi Ivan, your post is somewhat of a mystery to me :D Daniel, good questions. Let me see if I can sum up my opinions. I would say that maximum carry is often dominated by flyline taper. However the rod also plays a part too of course and it’s actually a very rare 90’ line that can’t be carried to th...

Re: Sloppy Rod
There are rods that turn while bending, but you should have this feeling with and without transport.

Re: 180 "tails".
What I see in the intermediates is a lack of continuity as they move forward or backward with the tip, the rod straightens and then folds up and this happens. (Maybe I misunderstood the translation)

Re: Recent FP from Paul
The lightest I’ve used is a 3 WT, but mostly a 4WT. I guess that we need to make another experiment! Starting with 2m of flyline outside the rod tip, how many false casts to hit targets at 50’, 75’ and 100’ with 4, 6, 8 and 10WT lines. Can we drop the line on the water between casts? Ie multiple PU...
