Keys to Distance
There is a lot of translation in Tot's cast, he accomplishes this with his body. He has a very unique style, far less wristy then most other casters. I'm a little surprised and actually disappointed by your comment there James, not taking anything away from Tor's title or victory but you have been o...

If you were selling it, I'd just presume it was fucked anyway :p Does it smoke when fueled / oiled correctly? Is there any resistance when you pull the starter cord? Is the prop chewed to bits? That's all I'd look for but, I fucking hate boat fishing unless out of necessity due to shark risk. I've b...

Paul,
With the greatest respect mate, don't be a dick
If your really feel the need to eat one, get someone who knows what they are doing (and is not drunk) to prepare it for you.

Zpey rods got better as the handles came closer to straight, the original was awful. Snake rolling was like operating a bit & brace. The only benefit I could really see was that it put the lower hand further away from the body and as such could be of assistance to those who dragged the set up of...

Seems a very odd concept, I'm not buying the power thing and I do not see how reducing direct contact with the blank can be a good thing in any way. Not cast one either, would be interested to try it as someone obviously thought the idea was worth bringing to market.
Cheers

Distance casting question
Nicely summed up, Lasse
Fits with my findings, had I been on a flat bit of ground not next to a flooded river with snaggy grass I reckon I could get the SLX to the knot with a full 170 and a step. I'll not be rushing to try though, reasons are explained in your clip.
Cheers

Distance casting question
There is a big difference between max possible carry and max controlled carry where you will get a good shoot and clean turnover, too. We were playing about trying to carry a whole Barrio SLX yesterday, could manage about 80' of it but there is no way it would have landed straight at 100' with clean...
