A Healthier Cast
Hi Thomas Neopren? Even the composite Cork solutions that are available doesn't give a better grip, and mostly just add alot of weight to the rod. I'm going to try this next, shouldn't be as grippy as the tape, but might last longer, personally I like the look of Cork, but when it looks really good,...

TTT has a 38 feet rear taper, and the first 30 feet is supposed to weigh 18,8 gram/290grain
MED has a 74,4 feet head, and mine weighs well over 30 grams for the whole head...
Try and weigh the head of the TTT just because you think it's a brick on a rope doesn't make it so
Cheers

I guess James is talking about floaters, and Paul, the MED has a significantly longer head than the tarpon line, and probably weigh more in the full head too
Agree on the runningline part...

Well, you did state that it was a clear example of putting weight before linespeed and loopsize ;) That the OB and OB short are wannabe shootingheads missing the option of changing heads isn't a secret, and what they are meant to be :) Cheers Lasse I'll bet a fly fisherman's bobber that Rio did not...
