probably because extreme distance casting isn't about achieving slp throughout the stroke. since i can only guess this is new to you i'd suggest going to youtube and vimeo and watching other top hitters. apart from Steve Rajeff (who might be considered be the closest in 'standard textbook' SLP form)...
