I use a perfection in my heavy leader material. The advantage of the loop being exactly straight in line with your leader outweighs the (marginal) loss of breaking strength compared to other loops. Furtermore: what Marc said..

They had a nose for good names. Their Fenwick World Class fly reels were just that: World Class. Weighed a tonne, but indestructable.

I caught the pollack over a reef plateau of around 11 to 14 metres. The coalfish came from the edge of the same plateau, but mid-water. I fished to depths of around 20 metres.

I stop my silly record-banter now. But I did some dredging with the 4wt too. Wouldn't be a proper Norwegian fishing trip without the trusted 3- or 4wt.
