Bayonne/Biarritz look to be about the same distance as Pamplona. being on the french side might be a bit of a hassle if participants need public transport to the gathering.

although "result of" is technically correct i prefer 'byproduct' as it infers that rod load/bend isn't the holy grail of fly casting so often and highly proclaimed.
