Paul : but if you twist the sections this will increase line friction between rod rings and blank and also produce wear ring , or am I wrong?

Hi James

Paul's rod is set up with Fuji torzite rings, the line is of the blank, and Wear to the rings is not an issue, they will outlast all his flylines :D

Cheers

I don't think Spine is an issue with modern rods, Dmitri. If it was then we'd place the rings at different angles to facilitate this on my rod!

I agree Lasse, but I didn't know I was going to twist them around like this when we built the rod. Maybe for the RAMAGE I'll do this!

Cheers, Paul
