There's two official hotels this time, and cottage possibilities at the water... Still the quoted prizes are quite high, and the dates are a disaster for me, but I don't count in this game so thats a plus 🤣

Where are you getting the information from Lasse?
Is there anything official?

I must congratulate the Swedish Casting Federation on their presentation and the planning work that preceded it. It is the host nation that does all the work in organising a World Championship and that goes double for next year in bringing two segments of our sport together at the one time and venue. Ten days of Casting Sport - seeing what is possible.
I think Ulf Janson, a multiple Swedish World Casting Champion and President of what was then the International Casting Federation and who sadly passed away too young, would be pleased with the planning to date.

Casting pool looks pretty good,

John

Is this the fee to pay if you want to be an ICSF affiliated club? Or are you talking about something else?

I think I need to talk to someone about our situation in Holland.
We do not have an ICSF affiliated club and Fly Casting Sport NL is not an official organization.
Because, in previous years, I was the only one to compete for Holland, I was allowed to compete without going through an ICSF club.

I better get clear what the requirements are for me to compete. The chance is still very big I will be the only dutch competitor.

Can someone tell me who to speak to about this?

Bart: the 680€ is the ICSF membership fee, page 13 in the presentation, you can see in the financial report for what your money is used :)

Got a similar problem here Bart. Perhaps more complicated because there is ICSF membership in Malaysia but I’m not sure if it’s current or who is paying. I did try writing to the listed association but never had a reply. This will be one for others to fix :D Malaysia was granted trial membership a few years ago so Ashly could compete. But it’s listed as a different club now.

Fortunately triathlon is cheaper :D
