Hello Everyone,
Nice to meet you all. I am new to posting on the board but I have been reading and learning from the board and the fly casting guide for the last couple years (I found the site looking for info on how to throw pointy loops and this was the one of the only places I found with anything). I have been fishing my whole life and fly fishing since I moved for work in 2013. I just made my way back to my home state of Michigan this year and look forward to exploring the various rivers, streams and lakes in the state with a fly rod. I look forward to joining and contributing to some of the discussions here and continuing to learn more about fly fishing and fly casting.

Re: New to the Board from Michigan
Hi Tommy, welcome to the Board!
I’ve fished Michigan once or twice. It’s a nice state. Although I don’t think I would survive a winter!!
Have a great time here and be sure to ask questions if you don’t understand something. Over the years we often take a bunch of short cuts in discussions!
Cheers, Paul
