Gary theorises that predatory fish but not birds have been driven offshore due to oxygen depletion. I can't claim any specialist knowledge but surely this won't bother air breathing tarpon?

Hi Comorant,

It depends on their food source I suppose. I've heard similar stories regards Snakehead too. Mind you just because they can live there doesn't mean that's the most comfortable. Personally I don't know and have nothing to back or counter the theory.
