Here is an interview with my friend Mark Rayan who is the tiger specialist in Malaysia. It’s bad news :(

I’m trying to set up a 1% (or more) for the jungle sort of deal here in Belum-Temenggor. But I think without more anti-poaching patrols and higher penalties the tigers are a lost cause.

Three years ago Mark told me we had ~45 tigers in the Belum-Temenggor forest. Now we are down to around only a dozen of so.

Cheers, Paul
It's an exploration; bring a flyrod.
