And something very close to me as well at the moment. The plans here are to open a river for Mahseer using local Orang Asli guides (I’ll train them) and I plan to turn the river into beats. However the first thing I need to do is to fish the river into the ground. I agree that wading the entire river is probably the most effective technique! I will also find a way of mapping it and making notes. Mind you I won’t be guiding it, instead I’ll train the guides to guide. What a great way of making friends with the locals!
