Just checked a danville spool and that claims to be prewaxed,I have noticed that whereas at one time my bobbin holder tubes used to get clogged with wax ,this is no longer a problem ,that i findPaul Arden wrote:I actually thought fly tying thread was prewaxed, maybe that’s a bit like gravy coming when you cook the meat
