I have two Vosseler DC4's, and a DC3.They have seen fresh and saltwater use,and the DC4's were fine on Bahamas Bonefish. I've had to strip them and fix the drag - after contacting Vosseler to find out how. If in the market for another reel, I'd want one with a bar across the bottom of the cage to stop fly line fouling on the handle, which seems to be a common occurrence on the Vosselers. Bad line management on my part, maybe?

I still have a wee Scientific Anglers reel that has always been bombproof, a Guideline Haze which has been good, and of course a few Rimfly's :yeahhh:

Yes I pointed out that design flaw to Ralf, Al. It's cost me a few fish too.

Cheers, Paul

Everybody has to believe in something and I believe in Fly fishing and Fly tying and believe I will.
As in the army I have never had a bad day fly fishing, some damn uncomfortable days but never a bad one.
