Wow lots of rods. Particularly saltwater models. Most are virtually rigid for the first third of the blank. Was that a serious question?!

Actually it was a serious question, because I haven't met one yet, apart from an actual broomstick, and thats just because I can't bend that, not that it doesn't bend there...
Could you please tape a cast with one of those rods next time you cast one? Straight from the side and up close please

Even Alejandro's "broomstick" will bend to a small degree but you won't feel it. Next time someone brings a SALT I'll shoot some comparison videos.

Ah, so they do bend now dont think its so much you don't feel it, its more you need stronger glasses mate, and loosen your grip
Looking forward to the videos, I'll got another 12 thats stiffer, will do the same, but put a 12 weight on it this time
