I haven't tried it. Does the butt flex in your hand?

What a question, it probably does, haven't taped it, and only cast it once before some time ago, just know its alot stiffer in the butt than the other echo I was casting with the three weight line on it....

I don't know, I'd assumed so. Truth be known it's probably much more oomplex. It's probably not one or the other (when it's very close) but it's at all other times different.

I think under many casting situations they don't. Flexing the rod in the hand is a good comparison between blanks, but I simply don't know the Echo.
