You don't need the video Paul - you got the demo in person. :D

Just a quick refresher - how do you close the latch/insert the braid on the part that’s to be inserted?

Thanks, Paul

I'm not following the question, sorry.

I think the answer might be "lay the inserting braid on the hook and pull the "sheath" of braid that's already on the needle over the latch, closing it."

So, you've got the needle inserted within braid (the "sheath") and then you lay the other piece on the hook and pull the sheath down so that the latch closes as the needle travels through the braid.

Cheers,
Graeme

Nice tool stand you have got there. Have you begun to collect nice pieces of wood lately?

I'm out there fishing with Ashly and she says, "LOOK THERE!!" I twirl around expecting the shot. "Where?" "There on the bank... wood!" FFS.

I see that you two have different opinions on what's interesting to see at the lake. You want to see shots for fish and Ashly wants to decorate your home and see peculiar pieces of wood.

Well to be fair there’s not been much fish activity yet!

Made a Snakehead Leader now too. Does anyone know of any knots for 40 or 50lb braid to knot2kinky?

I personally like nice wood. I collect nice pieces sometimes when I prune the apple trees at work, like spalted wood and discolorations. Then it´s a good pastime for you if the fish don't cooperate with you at the moment.
