I did the no PC thing ... I started smoking again, but pipe this time. Just one in the evening or when the bugs are just too much.

Anybody else?

My new pipe is a VAUEN classic 309 and I found some "beginners" tobacco which is mild and ok - Caledonian Melange No.10 Highland Cream.

Any "pro´s" on the board willing to give som nerdy advise?

Cheers,

I like Condor as one of my favourite tobaccos. If you use it for seals fur don't take it to America

No worries - I am talking about Tobacco, not any other plants or substances or whatever people inflame to inhale the smoke. The only effect of such stuff is the "kick". That´s not what I like or am after.

I like the smell of pipe tobacco and the product do rank as high as a good wine in my book. Similar to a good wine and whiskey and not to forget white russian - the kick is a "side effect" and not the motivation for consuming.

Thanks for the tip. I will check out the Condor :D - i have found various options so far:

The green one for me. I haven't seen or tried the others. Erinmore Flake is good too. :)

Interesting ... there´s whole world of tastes out there ... crazy stuff. I hope it will last a while before the last proper tobacco factory has to close down.

I prefer to smoke cigars! The problem is that they're so expensive. So I do have a pipe too. I usually buy tobaccos for it online in various tins. My favourite one so far is "Captain Earl's Ten Russians": http://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend/578 ... n-russians

Tips? 1. Don't inhale. 2. Smoke it very slowly (so as to prevent over-heating it and burning your mouth); 3. If your pipe is new, smoke a few quarter-bowls first, then a few half-bowls. It needs to be gradually accustomed to smoking. 4. Always clean your pipe after use!
