Well the Hungarian Ironman is just around the corner, July 27th, and I'm all booked in!

Hopefully this year I'll go under 12hrs. In fact hopefully this year I'll go under 11hrs. In fact...

Training so far is running and weights  I suppose I should start to think bike and if the water would bloody well warm up, swimming

Doing a lot of 20Km runs now, looking forward to a fantastic summer. Although it does seem that my entire life is now revolving around training, eating, resting and Sexyloops. Fuck knows what will actually happen when the Drava clears and I get to go fishing :yeahhh:

No time for chicks :pirate:

Cheers, Paul

You have lost maybe 20% or more of your muscle mass. I am pretty sure you have to be a 100m sprinter for distance casting, not a marathon runner.
Lasse is the exception.

I'm sure I lost a lot more! Have learned from that!

Had a round of applause tonight when I exited the water  Cheers of "Bravo!" could be heard around Gykenyes - and no I'm not making this up :p

Bike was good too, I've made some adjustments and am much more aerodynamic. Sitting at 35Km/hr now and not just 30. Fuck! Bring it on!!!

Good Luck Paul.
I just spoke with one guy(he works as my waiter) who compleated IM in Austria. He came 1200th out of 2500 and he is fucking proud. He has 2 jobs and two kids and for him it was awsome achivment.
He said that the guys who win it dont do anything else but train.
1st prize 15000 USD.
Go for it mate.
cheers
mike

Not trying to beat the pros! Just seeing how fast I can go. It's a huge learning curve but great fun. The only thing that gets in the way of training is teaching weekends, shows and the occasional long fishing trip.

I need a chick who does triathlon and flyfishing - impossible! So I'll settle for one of each. :p

Cheers Paul
