Anyone read this? I did a few year back. From memory, it was very good.
Any other travels with a fly rod books anyone can recommend please? Preferably on Kindle... Cos I'm a lazy bugger and I read under the cover of darkness...
Thanks

That is a great book - Going Fishing. Sounds like he had an interesting life. Apparently his father wrote a book of the same name. Has anyone read that?
Cheers, Paul

Hey TrevH
Not the same book, but one I have ordered from ebay.... I will check out the others you mention.
Thanks you.
Mark, I'll have a shot at Negley as well. Once I diagnose the task you set!

By the way, the top of my list would have been Going Fishing, if Mark hadn't already mentioned it. Great read

Blues by John Hersey - A summer's fishing for bluefish in New England; superb.
Tarpon Quest - John Cole - a little book, an excellent book.
Neither of these are travelogues, and almost certainly not on Kindle, but for some reason they just popped into my mind!
(I bet Rod and Line by Arthur Ransome is on Kindle - can't let a book thread go by w/o mentioning it )
