Steve's a very smart man. Interesting people. I know that Steve is a first class angler, although we haven't fished together. I don't know Tim very well and have only met a few times. A very likeable chap! Both are absolute top quality IMO.
You're lucky to live in the US, John. There are so many outstanding flyfishers there.
Cheers, Paul

Yes, thanks John, very nice FP!
I've had the pleasure of meeting both (AND beating Tim in a casting competition :-) and they are both very, very nice people. Steve is very down-to-earth and Humble, Tim's more colourful :-).
It must comfort you, Paul, to know that you're not the only one who could happen suddenly to on another continent witha forgotten appointment :-).

No, I'm saying it *could* happen - and maybe that I'm surprised it hasn't :-).

Paul, I'm lucky having the freedom to travel and meet so many talented, passionate anglers such as you and your associates. I wish I could join you in the jungle. I did sleep in a hammock for 2 1/2 months in the Amazonas.
Best,
John

You're welcome any time, John. Another gourami tonight. This will be a good one to master. Amazing fish.
