The Great Tassie Trip

So, the plan is to visit Tasmania in Dec and January, living at Hare's Lair in Miena, with lots of great fishing. No transport because the old truck is dead (no I didn't kill it) but I'm sure we'll find something - bicycles for example. Let me know if you're around for a cast/fish/beers. Fortunately for some obscure reason they sell cheap ski-clothing in the 2nd hand shop in Grik, Malaysia. So I will be stocking up for the Tassie "summer". No waders here - I have waders in Hungary, UK and China - but who the hell needs waders anyway? If anyone has a spare pair of waders for Ashly then I think she would much appreciate it. She has waders too, neoprenes! Which are perfect, apart from being in Hungary.

It's difficult for her being highly organised when I don't plan stuff like this. But that's one of my attractions. :pirate:

Cheers, Paul

Our office is closed between Christmas and New Year, so you may get a stray West Aussie lobbing on your doorstep ... :)

I'll be in Miena from mid to late December this year. I have my daughters neoprene waders there if you want to borrow them. Not sure they would fit be you're welcome to try.

Not for fishing but I reckon Michelle and I rode our bikes through there about 30 years ago.

Hi Pat, that's fantastic - thanks. Ashly is pretty small :)

We are looking at heading over middle of November. Depending on flights.

Cheers, Paul
