Marc try to wait a bit longer after you disable pop up block. I think that was problem with mine.

I'm assuming that you've enabled pop-ups from the site?

of course Paul. enabled, disabled then re-enabled. logged out/back in, refreshed etc, etc, several times.
Janesch and i were pming to test this out, although i get notifications on the iPhone and i get a notification at the top of the page, no pop up appears. fwiw, i'm using Safari and a MBpro

I am not logged in automatically when revisiting. It works for short periods of time, but if I log in today and then visit again tomorrow I must reenter my name and password.

me neither. i've checked cookies (to enable them on a permanent basis) and it doesn't seem like the new board has any ?

Well that's something I don't understand. I'm assuming that you're ticking the "remember me" box! It certainly remembers me. The board uses cookies and has its own cache too. I don't know about the pop-ups, I seem to remember seeing a setting somewhere.
