App doesn't load - gives error message

I have not looked at the App for a good few weeks, on trying to open it on my iPad today I get a panel which says:

Error
The application needs to download some files from the server to be able to work.
Please enable internet connection.

With a button: OK


I am connected to the internet as I can surf without a problem.
This error message doesn't go away.

I have used the App in the past without any problems.


What can I do?
