I can't get it working back hand. I don't know why that's so, but it's on my list of casts to nut out.

it's not necessary to twist the tip, to make the "svirgolato."
I don't do that.
Important is the early jerky use of force, so that the rod tip makes the dip.

I guess the important thing is to create the tail on the forward cast. However, I notice that both you and Malik go out of plane on the back stroke prior to the delivery cast.

not so easy.

But you did manage, if you cast on the right side and reduce the line tension.
Then the leader remains on the left side, as a "negative curve."
But if you increase the tension, the leader kicks to the right.
In practice, it is usually sufficient.

Excellent video Thomas! That’s what mine look like (sometimes)! For me to be consistent I need to spike the force to tail and track significantly less that 180 degrees.

Do you have the accuracy control at different lengths or do you have an approx fishing range target that you’ve mastered?

I’m not yet at the point where I can make it every cast and need to throw a few wild casts before I get everything right. But I’m working on it.

I can put the leader (3m) to the side, or also a little bit of line to it. . . and that goes up to max. 15m to me.
90° is easy to create.

Backhand I can do that up to 10- 12m until now.
