It' s what most fly fishers fish for here. Mainly sinking lines and streamers 10-20ft down. But I haven't done much of this although plan to spend the Wet season doing this when they congregate at stream mouths. Most of mine have been caught on dry flies and Poppers. First light they are at the surface. Haven't caught many of them at night yet but expect to.

I'm interested to see how you get on with sinking lines and Toman/Snakehead. Hasn't worked for me yet!! Had one follow and one pull.
