5:11 I’m still amazed by this “The Creep” even if it is caused “by the rod bouncing” and not the caster anticipating the next cast.

Jason Borger refers to recoil being an issue “that can creep in” and occurs when a caster begins a backcast with a “big burst of speed followed by a harshly halt movement of the rod butt” and the casters’s hand recoils forward.
Ian Blagdon talks about rod bounce causing the hand to not hold the required static position at the end of the backcast and tilting forward.
Different terms but ..............

I was rather disappointed by this video ... for a few moments I thought it was going to be a Monty Python skit that I hadn't yet seen!
