In May we have the Scottish Meet in Spain - you're very welcome to attend that also Bart.

Incidentally I was the only person fishing after the last championships. I had some fun dry fly fishing for trout and I will be doing the same again this year. So if anyone wants to hook up for three or four days fishing, or a month for that matter, then let me know! I'm considering driving up. Is this sensible?

Cheers, Paul

Does it say anywhere where in Norway it will be (it being a big country, with lots of mountains and shite roads, that might be important...).

If I come, I won't be there for the casting... Is the fishing good? It'll be 7.5 hours driving - do you guys know anybody else from Stavanger/South West Norway, who might be keen?

There is some very good fishing but the price was too much for my pocket where it was recommended as being the best. However I drove about 45 mins away and had a couple of fun days fishing for brown trout using dries. I will definitely fish again this time too; it's stunning scenery, beautiful trout and a bloody long way to go for a couple of minutes casting!

Cheers, Paul

Was that in Hemsila? http://www.hemsedal.com/en/A/Fishing-in-Hemsedal/
Should be 50 quid for a 2 day ticket/90 quid for a week after 15/07. I'd say you skip the silly casting competition and we camp somewhere around the river and fish there for a week.

Would be great but hands a bit tied. Ironman Saturday before and off to Kola immediately after, song have something like a three day fishing window before the event. But definitively out to a lot of fish!!!
