Hi guys
My boss from Seatlle, has confirmed my sing off date from the ship . 9/08 (Saturday)
Im not sure how my flights will look like ( Flying from Istambul), but the connetions looks shity, so I might arrive to Fagernes on Sunday the 10th and leave on Monday the 18th
Im plannig to book a cabin in the camping aeria for that period.
Is anybody planing to be there around this time and would like to share the cost of the cabin.

p.s1
anybody remembers the price of the cabin for a night?
p.s
As I will be flying from the ship, and there is not to much space for my fishing gear( a part from rods, lines, reels), so Im not planing to fish, but if I hook up with somebody,I can be the camera man, or picture maker.
cheers

With the strong wind that blew for some competitors in the ST27 event last time, did any of them have problems with the shooting line blowing into the water? Did anyone use stripping baskets?

I'll have a full set of fishing gear Mike, since I'm going to Kola straight after. You're welcome to use flies etc. I'll also have a mobile kit!

No one used stripping baskets James. I can't remember shooting line going onto the water, but I do know someone who decided to place his MED there.

Cheers, Paul

I had my Amnesia blown to the water so started putting it there so it would not tangle. And as long as it stayed on the canvas that was semi-floating on the water in front of the stand, it was no problem. My problem was that I didn't measure anything else than weight of my head before competing. I ended up with too long (and for the final, too light) a line. So, in the final I struggled with the back cast and wore myself out before three minutes had gone.

You guys better hurry up. Deadline for payment was 3 days ago! ;)
But I think it will be fair to lengthen the deadline since there was a mistake on the website. I tried to sign in but didn't get any response. Tried via email now.
Cheers

I think three of us are coming from the UK. Tomo, Lee Cummings and I. After Norway I spend a week in Russia and then back to Hungary. If I was to take my car over (coming from the UK), how would I do this? I'm not sure it makes sense but at least I'll be immune to speeding cameras. And wherever I end up, I still have to drive from and to Hungary (MOT).

Many thanks,
Paul
