Hi guys
Just thinking about entering also Salmon Distance event- just to have more fun in WC.
I dont have an outfit for it and I dont practice it, but did well in 2013 during Sexyloops gathering in Scotland( must be the natural talent ).
Here is my question, would anybody be able to lend me one just for the comp? If not then I wont bother to pay the enrty fee for the Salmon Distance.
As we know entries are closed after end of April, so it will be to late to decide on the day once I find somebody willing to lend me a Salmon outfit.
cheers

ok gents, Im all booked and payed- No return
quick question as I forgot how it works?
If I cast lets say
- 35.2m the judge will call 35m
-35.3m the judge will call 35.5m
-35.6m the judge will call 36m
Is this how it looks roughly? I say roughly because the white balls on the rope are every m right.
Not complainig- just asking???
p.s
I have to say it, I had a good wind today and hit my PB wit ST27, it went for a long time and I was very pleased to see the fluff on 51.3m. Im even more pleased as I hit my back with the leader, but it went ha ha. When I adjust my tracking I will be chasing Lee's 63m
game's on boys
cheers

Mike,
I think the scores are rounded down to the nearest 1/2 meter passed, so in your example you would get:
35m
35m
35.5m
Great cast with the ST27. See you there

At this time in 3 months time somebody will be getting ready for the finals.....
But for now, would you share your transportation details if you have any?
Myself, arriving to Manchester around 10am on the 16th and planing to rent a car, departing( have to be back to Manchester airport by 8am) on Monday the 20th.
Was thinking of renting a car( and I will), but maybe somebody has simillar plans and we cant put them together???
Cheers

I'm not sure yet. I have a truck in Hungary but driving to UK will cost a bomb - fuel, ferry, tax and MOT. How long are you in Europe, Mike?
